Wow, so much has happened in the last few days that I’m still reeling a little, so we’ll start by reviewing…

Over last weekend, I traveled to the Korean consulate in Chicago to give them their required paperwork and have an interview. Although I wasn’t sure what to expect with this interview, it ended up being another formality. I met a neatly-dressed Korean, who asked me why I wanted to go to Korea, if I had ever been there before, and so on – the same kinds of questions I was asked when interviewing for the job.

After that was done, I came back home and began to gear up. Yesterday, I received an e-mail from Mike showing my itinerary – I’ll be leaving Friday morning! All of a sudden I’m scrambling – now that I know when I’m leaving it’ll be a lot easier to sell my car – in the next couple of days! No pressure…

It’s also time to begin packing… and do laundry… and make sure everything wrapped up before I leave… and cancel the cell phone… Lots to do 🙂
